Three villas, three personalities, one philosophy. Ubuntu is the southern African idea that we exist through one another — that hospitality is not a service, but a way of being together.
We built each home to feel like a friend's place — a little weathered by the sun, generous in its proportions, slow in its rhythm. Doors stay open. Mango falls on the path in March. Someone is always cooking.
You can take all three for a wedding, a workshop, a family that has grown. Or take just one, and let the island do its work.
"A person is a person through other persons."
Each villa stands on its own grounds, with its own kitchen, pool, and pace.
The island doesn't hurry. Neither should you.
Our villas cluster on the north and northwest of the island — a 35-minute drive from the pier, a world away from the parties.
We host a small number of stays each year. We'll write back personally, usually within a day.
